My Trip to San Diego

I have totally been slacking in my blog posts lately. Partly, I've been vacationing in Sunny California! And partly we've been in the middle of purchasing a new car. Talk about time consuming with test drives, bank paperwork, DMV trips, etc. Not to mention, we're giving our other car away, so getting it ready to say sayonara is a BIG chore! But I'm finally back to work. Here are some pictures from our trip to San Diego.

The beach was amazing and blue and cold.

Here's my little nephew. He is so dang cute. He loves the freezing water!

My sister-in-law, Ashley, is gorgeous, just naturally posing for me on this huge mound of sand.

My brother, Kendall, is always up for an adventure. He can take anything and make it entertaining. Take this mound of sand for example... "Let's make it into a ride, baby!"

We were lucky enough to get to go to the San Diego Temple. Talk about stunning! Half of it was under construction, so I could only get half the temple.

After we went to the temple, Kendall, Mom and I found a park and got some night shots with really long exposures.

This one we did the painting with light technique where Kendall took my flash and ran madly through the palm trees, lighting the underneath sides. It was pretty funny to watch!

Here's one without Kendall running crazy with the flash. Can you see the difference? It definitely added the white light instead of yellow light.

The last day, we ate breakfast on the beach.

I love this picture my mom snapped of me and Kiera.

Here's the whole clan at the beach!

And it was a little windy...

I loved the reflection in this picture of Ashley.

As we went up the beach, it just kept getting more beautiful.

We ran into some smelling, loud sea lions. That was really fun!

We drove to the border just to see Mexico, and there were flowers EVERYWHERE! We jumped out of the car and snapped a few of Kiera. I wished I would have just thrown her in the middle of them though because I'm not even sure this picture does its justice.

This trip was amazing. I never thought I'd ever make it down to San Diego. So fun!
